About Us
Deelinquent Hope is a nonprofit organization with a mission to provide resources to young men and women aged 18-21 who have been incarcerated and are transitioning back to our communities. Our goal is to help them with housing, jobs, clothing, transportation, educational/apprenticeship programs, budgeting, credit/financial literacy and governmental assistance programs.
Daniel - CEO
Daniel was released from prison in April 2023 and is no stranger to post incarceration struggles as he has gone through this process serving nearly a 13-year prison sentence since he was a teenager.
While incarcerated, Daniel became a strong proponent of higher education, working as an educator to help his fellow prisoners acquire GEDs and other educational goals that were made available to the inmate population. He was also certified by AZ Department of Corrections as a Reentry Preparation Specialist in order to help prepare soon-to-be-released inmates with their reentry process. Because he wanted to “practice what he preached,” he has compiled many tutorial videos for soon to be released prisoners to use as resources. His videos are now being considered by AZDOCRR to be put on inmates' tablets as resources.
Daniel has written a book, founded this nonprofit, become involved in volunteer work and has been a strong advocate for prison reform. Beyond this, one of Daniel's proudest achievements is being promoted to Director of Innovation for Massey's Truck & Tank Repair.
Seidy - CFO
Seidy's background is in the financial services industry as a graduate of Arizona State University in 2019 with a bachelor's in accountancy.
He went on to start S.L Tax & Accounting after graduating, currently the #1 independently owned tax and accounting firm in Laveen and Casa Grande Arizona. His role as CFO with Deelinquent Hope other than managing the finances is helping former inmates with housing and financial literacy such as building credit, budgeting and taxes.
